We house an Independent Living Program for young men ages 17-21 in Gilmer Cottage.  This program gives these young men an opportunity to continue their educational pursuits, whether that is in high school or college, while also allowing them to participate in the workforce. 

 

The goal of the program is to allow the residents an increased level of responsibility while still residing in a supportive environment.  Participants in this program receive training in 16 different areas through the use of the Casey Life Skills Inventory. 

 

Young ladies that reside in Buchanan Cottage may also participate in this program if they meet the requirements.
